The side rail drops to provide greater access for bed transfers using it’s simple release mechanism. It can also be easily disassembled for storage and transportation. Powder coated mild steel construction.

The dropside bed rail is designed to reduce the risk of a fall during the night and can be used with any hospital or home care bed.

It is easily installed and removed by sliding between the mattress and bed base. The rail can only be used when the bed is flat. It must be removed to access other bed features, such as elevating the back support or lowering the leg support.
